About Taste of
Sacheon
Baekcheon Valley is the largest valley in Mt. Waryongsan. It is named after the white stream (Baekcheon) that flows through it year-round. As the water is so clear, the rocks and boulders are also white. Pine forests stand on both sides of the valley. Walking up the valley, you can arrive at Baekryongsa (temple) and at the tip of the valley stands the renovated Baekcheonsa (temple) which was once demolished during Imjinweran (Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592).
