A place with the world's largest Medicine Buddha
The symbol representing Baekcheon Temple is the world's largest Recumbent Medicine Buddha (reclining Buddha), measuring 13 meters in length and 3 meters in height. Crafted from a 2,400-year-old pine tree over three years, the surface is adorned with gold for added splendor. Not only can its size and splendor be appreciated, but visitors can enter through the feet to explore the interior, which houses the Buddha Triad Sanctuary.

Seonjinri Fortress, built by the Japanese during the Imjin War, was conquered by General Yi Sun-sin. The current earthen walls are about 1 km long, and while the stone-made parts have collapsed, the overall scale of the fortress remains. The long cherry blossom tunnel and the majestic beauty of centuries-old cherry trees leading to Seonjinri Fortress attract many tourists each spring.
